Medicaid Managed Care
ended May 21, 2021. Bene-
ficiaries who did not select
a health plan during open
enrollment were auto-enrolled
in a plan beginning May 22.
Whether beneficiaries chose
a health plan during open enrollment or were auto-enrolled by N.C. Medicaid, everyone will have through Sept. 30, 2021 to change their health plan or primary care provider for any reason.
To make changes, contact the NC Medicaid Enrollment Broker at 833-870-5500 (TTY: 833-870-5588). You can also call the Enrollment Broker to get answers to your questions about N.C. Medicaid Managed Care. Their hours of operation are 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

To safely serve customers who need assistance, the Department of Social Services is accepting applications for Food and Nutrition assistance, Medicaid, Work First Family Assistance or other DSS Services online, by phone or by mail. For additional information on assistance programs offered during the COVID-19 pandemic, please click here.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services allows you to do a pre-assessment through ePASS to determine if you are potentially eligible for assistance. Actual eligibility determination must be done at the Granville County DSS.
