Information Technology

Granville County operates a full-time IT staff that work in conjunction with contract staff to provide technology services.  The I.T. department is responsible for purchasing and managing all information technology related items including hardware, software, and licensing/maintenance agreements as well as copier leases and telephone services. 

IT security and compliance is a shared responsibility among county staff, elected officials, interns, and volunteers. Granville County IT systems and practices support staff and help personnel, elected officials, and volunteers conduct County business in an effective and efficient manner.
