The Program Integrity Investigator’s job is to detect, prevent, pursue and prosecute fraud and the misuse of benefits in all Economic Services Programs. The Investigator will perform in-depth evaluation of potential investigations and develop investigations that involve monetary losses, sensitive issues, and seek reimbursement for overissuance/overpayments.
Fraud is defined as:
- Intentional deception or misrepresentation made by a person with the knowledge that the deception could result in some unauthorized benefit to himself or some other person.
- Includes any act that constitutes fraud under applicable Federal or State law.
