The Granville County Board of Adjustment meets monthly, starting Feb. 2020, at 7 p.m. at the Granville County Expo and Convention Center, 4185 Highway 15 South in Oxford. Tourism Development Authority Meeting @ Remote meeting (Zoom)

The Granville Tourism Development Authority will have a special meeting on Tuesday, April 14 at 4 p.m. to discuss the remainder budget for fiscal year 2019-2020. This discussion will be held in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the meeting will be conducted remotely and will take place in a Zoom phone/video conference.  The public is welcome to listen in, but participants should register with Tourism Director, Angela Allen by April 13 to be given access.  Allen can be contacted at 919-693-6125 or can be emailed at angela.allen@granvillecounty.org.

The Granville County Planning Board meets monthly at 7 p.m. at the Granville County Expo and Convention Center, 4185 Highway 15 South in Oxford. Meeting dates for 2020 are Jan. 16, Feb. 20 (cancelled), March 19, April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, Aug. 20, Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.

The bulletin board located in the Administration building at 141 Williamsboro Street in Oxford is the primary bulletin board for public notices for Granville County.

Spring Shred, Recycle and Collection Event @ Granville County Expo and Convention Center
May 16 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

This annual Shred, Recycle and Collection event for Spring  is rescheduled from the previous date of April 25, and offers a central location for the shredding of documents,; the collection of recyclables such as electronics, scrap metal, hardback books and other items; and the proper disposal of medications, sharps flares, ammunition and fireworks. In addition, the  Humane Society will be on hand for donations of dog/cat food and pet supplies. Backyard compost bins and countertop caddies will also be available for purchase.
