The Butner Compost Facility accepts scrap tires, scrap metal/white-goods, yard waste, brush and debris for recycling.
Residents may recycle all materials at no charge.
Everyone may recycle scrap tires (with proper documentation) and scrap metal/white-goods at no charge.
Contractors and businesses in and outside of Granville County will be charged for yard waste and brush/debris at $45/ton.
Hours: The facility is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
