The following materials are accepted for recycling and proper disposal at Granville County convenience sites:
- Used cooking oil
- Used motor oil and filters
- Anti-freeze
- CFC bulbs and tubes
- Televisions, radios, cellphones, computers, cords, etc.
(Butner and Oxford locations only) - Scrap metal and large appliances
- Household trash
- Bulky furniture
Waste materials NOT accepted at Granville County convenience sites:
- Construction and demolition waste
- Tires (must be taken to Oxford Landfill at 6584 Landfill Road or to Butner Material Management at 2796 Old Route 75 in Butner)
- Yard waste and brush
- Liquid/hazardous wastes (paint, pesticide containers)
- Used oil/water mixture
- Business electronic waste
- Burned trash and burn barrels
- Wooden pallets
- Car batteries
- Construction and demolition (C&D) waste
