The Committee works to maintain the rights of nursing home residents. It works to see that each resident’s civil and religious liberties shall not be infringed. The Committee serves as a link between the community and nursing home, seeking to increase community involvement and at the same time to keep the public informed about aspects of long term care and the operation of the nursing homes as well as the needs of those residents in the various types of settings.
