When to call 9-1-1:

  • Any immediate or potential threat to life or property
  • Any vehicle accident
  • Any Fire or Medical emergency
  • Any type of fight or disturbance
  • Child locked in a vehicle
  • Any suspicious person or vehicle
  • Animal bites
  • Any other actual or perceived emergency

Do not call 9-1-1:

  • For general information
  • For directory assistance
  • For paying traffic tickets
  • As a prank
  • Road conditions
