May 17, 2022 Primary Election Results

The purpose of a primary is to narrow the field of candidates for the general election. The May 17, 2022 primary election will allow voters to choose which candidates they would like to appear on the general election ballot in November 2022. 

Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. on May 17. Voters can search for their polling place on the NC State Board of Elections website or consult the map below. See this list of precincts and addresses before heading to the polls.

Voters may also visit the NC State Board of Elections website to see a sample ballot by searching for their voter record.

One-stop early voting in Granville County will begin on Thursday, April 28 and end on Saturday, May 14. The voting locations will be the Oxford Public Works Building (127 Penn Avenue, Oxford), the South Branch Library (1550 South Campus Drive, Creedmoor) and Tar River Elementary School (2642 Philo White Road, Franklinton).
