COVID-19 Information

Granville County Government has partnered with Granville-Vance Public Health (GVPH) to provide guidance and information about the COVID-19 virus. For local updates and safety recommendations, please visit the GVPH website.

For statewide updates, a COVID-19 web portal is available with centralized resources from a wide range of state agencies. This site can be accessed at nc.gov/covid19.


Assistance for Businesses
Available resources for business and industry can be located through the North Carolina Department of CommerceAdditional resources are available on the NC Department of Health and Human Services website (business/employer pages).

Count On Me NC
Count On Me, NC is a public health initiative geared to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Training developed by public health officials and food safety experts is available, as well as information for restaurant and business guests and employees. 


 

COVID-19 VaccinesThe COVID-19 vaccine is available to everyone for free, whether or not they have health insurance. Granville-Vance Public Health (GVPH) is a local source of information about this vaccine.  A hotline number is available to assist those with questions and to help make appointments.

Economic Assistance through Department of Social Services
To safely serve customers who need assistance, the Department of Social Services is accepting applications for Food and Nutrition assistance, Medicaid, Work First Family Assistance, or other DSS Services. Visit the Granville County Department of Social Services.

Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) Program 
This North Carolina program is available to assist families in purchasing food for children. Those who are eligible include school-age children who currently receive free or reduced lunch, children receiving Food and Nutrition Services benefits, and non-FNS households.
