The annual Cycle North Carolina Mountains to Coast Bicycle Tour will pass through Granville County on October 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Up to 900 bicyclists will be on the roadways that day, so make sure you allow extra time if you are travelling during those hours or consider taking an alternate route.
The Cycle NC group will enter Granville County coming from Durham on Old NC 75, passing through Butner, Stem, and Providence. The route through Oxford will be Hillsboro and Spring streets before leaving town on Salem Road as they move into Vance County that afternoon.
