The Granville Athletic Park (GAP) recently hosted a great celebration for Granville County Public Schools Summer Bridge Transition Program. This program is for rising kindergarten and sixth grade students who had a chance to enjoy all the amenities offered at the GAP and to cap off a week of learning about the transition to elementary and middle schools.
Participants were entertained by a story time at the amphitheater, enjoyed the playground, a picnic at the sports pavilion, and were given backpacks full of supplies donated by the event’s sponsors.
