Heath needs change from year to year, and the benefits and costs to health plans may change each year, too. An annual health plan evaluation is recommended.
The annual Election Period is a time when all Medicare recipients can review and/or change their Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) and Medicare prescription drug plans (Part D) for 2020. Open enrollment for Medicare Part D began on Oct. 15 and ends on Dec. 7. For a review of individual drug plans for 2020, contact the Granville County Senior Center at 919-693-1930 to schedule an appointment during Open Enrollment time. Well-trained SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program) counselors are available to provide assistance.
