An auction will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. at the Granville County Animal Shelter. Auctioned off will be a pot-belly pig, black with white on legs. The animal weighs approximately 60 pounds.
By General Statute (NCGS 68-20), any unredeemed impounded livestock is to be auctioned to the general public after notice is given stating the place, date and hour of the sale on the website of the Sheriff’s Office.
The Granville County Animal Shelter is located at 5650 Cornwall Road in Oxford.
