5/24/2017 @3:50 PM – The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado WATCH for most of Central NC. A WATCH means conditions are favorable for the development of Tornadoes in the WATCH area. Please stay tuned to local television and radio stations and/or NOAA Weather Radio. If a WARNING is issued, be prepared to take cover to protect yourself, your family and pets!
5/24/2017 @ 11:35AM – The National Weather Service is issuing advisories on the potential for severe storms throughout much of Central NC, including Granville County. The primary threat will be from damaging straight line winds. Currently, the timing puts the storm system here late evening and overnight.
