Do you like blueberries? Would you like to grow this delicious fruit in your home garden?
A FREE hands-on program will be held on Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. until noon, sponsored by N.C. Cooperative Extension. Blueberry specialist Bill Cline will instruct participants on proper site selection, soil preparation, variety selection, proper pruning and care techniques. All participants are asked to bring their own set of pruning shears.
The workshop will be held at 2292 US 158 in Oxford (part of the research farm) and is open to the public. Registration is required.
