On November 1, 2017, the incorporation of the Town of Butner turns 10! To honor this milestone, following the November 2nd Council Meeting, in the Town Hall Gallery, the public is invited to attend a light reception with a brief presentation of accomplishments and future plans. The Camp Butner 75th Anniversary storyboards will also be on display, as well as Major General Butner’s certificates of rank advancement. If you’ve never been to a Town Council Meeting, this is your opportunity to find out what is going on in your community, and meet the Butner Town Council in an informal setting during the reception. The meeting begins at 6:00 PM in the Council Board Room, Butner Town Hall, 415 Central Avenue; reception begins at approximately 7:30 PM.
