At the April 3rd Granville County Board of Commissioners Meeting, Mr. Nick Petro, Warning Coordination Meteorologist with the National Weather Service (Raleigh Office) made the official designation of “Storm Ready” to Granville County as a result of efforts from the Office of Emergency Management. A letter of recognition and a StormReady sign were presented to Emergency Management staff Robin Edwards and Doug Logan.
