Donation opportunities are available for supporters of the Granville Athletic Park in honor of the park’s 15th anniversary.
The Supporters of the GAP levels of giving are:
$5 ORIGINAL SHAREHOLDER (BRONZE SUPPORTER) : Granville County citizens and supporters around the world prevented a hazardous waste incinerator from location at 4615 Belltown Road (now the GAP) by purchasing $5 share of the property.
$15 ANNIVERSARY SUPPORTER (SILVER SUPPORTER) : The Granville Athletic Park was officially dedicated 15 years ago on May 21, 2004.
$30 HERE’S TO 15 MORE (GOLD SUPPORTER) : The Granville Athletic Park turned 15 years old in 2019. Here’s to 15 more years (and then some)!
$48 ELLOK JONES FARM (PLATINUM SUPPORTER) : The Jonesland Environmental Preserve (Phase I of the GAP) sits on 48 acres that originally belonged to the Ellok Jones Family. The Jones Family cemetery is still located in Phase I of the park.
$100+ HUNDRED OR MORE (DIAMOND SUPPORTER) : Depending on the season, the GAP sees a hundred or more visitors per day. During baseball tournament season, hundreds of visitors enjoy the Granville Athletic Park each day.
Supporters of the GAP will have their names displayed by level on signage in the Phase III expansion of the park in a prominent location. Let your community know that you are a supporter of the Granville Athletic Park by making a donation to the future of this facility.
Bronze Supporter ($5-14): Name recognition by level on a supporter recognition installation Phase III
Silver Supporter ($15-29): Name recognition by level on a supporter recognition installation Phase III
Gold Supporter ($30-47): Name recognition by level on a supporter recognition installation Phase III
Platinum Supporter ($48-99): Name recognition by level on a supporter recognition installation Phase III
Diamond Supporter ($100+): Engraved brick in Phase III walkway
