All interested persons take note that a public hearing will be held by the Granville County Board of Commissioners, pursuant to N.C.G.S. 158-7.1 on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. (or shortly thereafter). The purpose of the hearing is to obtain citizens’ input into the identification of economic needs and desired economic development activities at 117 Main Street in Oxford. Granville County is preparing an application to the N.C. Department of Commerce for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) which will request up to $300,000 in Building Reuse funds. All interested citizens are invited and urged to attend.
