Meeting – Granville County Citizens Advisory Committee for Environmental Affairs

The Granville County Citizens Advisory Committee for Environmental Affairs meets at 9 a.m. on the second Monday of each month (except for July and August). Meetings are held at the Granville County Expo and Convention Center, 4185 Highway 15 South in Oxford. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, some remote meetings may be scheduled.

Budget Workshop, Board of Commissioners
May 10 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The Granville County Board of Commissioners will meet at the Granville Expo and Convention Center, 4185 Highway 15, Oxford, NC on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. for a budget workshop on the proposed fiscal year 2021-2022 budget.

 

If necessary, the workshop will continue on Tuesday, May 11 at 9 a.m.

Meeting – Granville County Economic Development Advisory Board
May 10 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

The Granville County Economic Development Advisory Board meets every other month on the second Monday. Meeting are held at 5:30 p.m. at the Granville County Economic Development Office, 310 Williamsboro Street in Oxford.

The Granville County Human Relations Commission meets at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of each month, except for July and December. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, meetings are held via ZOOM, unless otherwise announced.

Meeting – Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors
May 10 @ 7:00 pm

The Granville County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will have their scheduled Board meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 10 at the Farm Service Agency Building, 518 Lewis Street in Oxford. The meeting is open to the public and will include a budget hearing.

Budget workshop, Board of Commissioners (if needed)

The Granville County Board of Commissioners will meet at the Granville Expo and Convention Center, 4185 Highway 15, Oxford, NC on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. (if necessary) for a continuation of the May 10 budget workshop on the proposed FY 2021-2022 budget.

Meeting – Granville County Library Board of Trustees
May 13 @ 4:30 pm

The Granville County Library Board of Trustees meets on the second Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m., except for the month of July. The November meeting is scheduled for a Wednesday, due to the Veterans Day holiday.

 

Meetings are held at the Richard H. Thornton Library, 210 Main Street in Oxford. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, meetings may also be held via Zoom.

Meeting – Animal Control Advisory Subcommittee

The Granville County Animal Control Advisory Subcommittee meets regularly at 7 p.m. at the Granville County Expo and Convention Center, 4185 Highway 15 South in Oxford.

 

Due to restrictions of COVID-19, some meetings may be held remotely.

Spring Recycle and Collection Event @ Granville County Expo and Convention Center
May 15 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Mark your calendar for the annual Spring Clean Out! This year, paints and household chemicals will be accepted, as well as scrap metal, electronics, batteries, polystyrene/styrofoam, outdated prescriptions, books, paper documents for shredding, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, flares, ammunition and more.
