Cozart also gave a presentation about how Felts “checked all the boxes” as County Manager and Finance Director. Cozart noted the seven “boxes” that Felts checks are:
– Competence
– Dedication

– Community Oriented
– Team Builder
– Good Christian Guy
Granville County Board of Education Chairman David Richardson and Superintendent Dr. Alisa McLean also spoke about Felts’ service to Granville County Public Schools. In addition to the close working relationship he had with the school system during his tenure with Granville County Government, Felts also served as Finance Officer for Granville County Public Schools for three years from 2004 – 2007.
Granville County would like to thank Michael Felts for his twenty years of service and extend best wishes for his new position with the NCACC.
