The Granville County Board of Commissioners will host a reception honoring outgoing County Manager on Friday, July 29 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Granville Convention & Expo Center (4185 US Highway 15 South, Oxford). The reception is open to the public and no RSVP is necessary. Attendees may arrive at any time between 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. as this will be a floating reception.
Felts has served as Granville County Manager since July 2013 and he also served as Finance Director for eleven years. Among other accomplishments during his tenure as Manager, Felts spearheaded the County’s first long-range strategic plan and established a capital improvement program for county facilities to deal with current and expected growth to maintain a high level of service to county residents.
