Granville County Senior Services and Amedisys Home Health and Hospice will honor local veterans with a drive-through Veteran’s recognition event on Wednesday, November 10 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Granville County Senior Center in Oxford. Veterans of all branches are invited to attend this special event to honor their service to the United States, just in time for Veteran’s Day.
All Veterans in attendance will receive a free goody bag and participate in a pinning “ceremony” from the comfort of their own vehicles. Veterans who would like to attend are encouraged to call the Granville County Senior Center at (919) 693-1930.
