It’s “Sunshine Week,” a time to spotlight the public’s access to information and what that access means for our citizens. The weekly observance is celebrated each year in mid-March, coinciding with National Freedom of Information Day, and is spearheaded by the News Leaders Association.
Are you on our “Sunshine” list? Granville County Government invites all residents and those interested in local government to register for notifications regarding county government, including Board of Commissioners meetings, special meeting notices, public hearings, requests for bids/proposals/qualification and other important announcements that impact the public and our communities.
