N.C. Cooperative Extension, in partnership with the N.C. Forest Service, will offer a FREE Chainsaw Safety Workshop at 1 p.m. on Nov. 15. The session will provide participants with information about proper operating techniques, as well as proper safety equipment needed to operate a chainsaw.
The workshop will include classroom instruction by Granville County Forest Ranger Rob Montague, along with demonstrations about how to minimize your risk while operating a chainsaw.
