Legal notice of public hearing, Nov. 18

The Granville County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at their meeting on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 7:00 PM or later in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located at Granville County Expo & Convention Center, 4185 US Hwy 15 South, Oxford, North Carolina 27565. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear public comments on adopting an ordinance granting a franchise for Non-Emergency Ambulance Services in Granville County to Priority Care Ambulance Inc. in accordance with and pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 153A-250, Granville County Code of Ordinances §23-31 et seq., and other applicable law. After the hearing, the Board may adopt an ordinance if it finds that to do so is necessary to assure the provision of adequate and continuing ambulance service and to preserve, protect, and promote the public health, safety, and welfare. The Commissioners invite all interested persons to attend and present their views. This Notice is given pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 153A-250 and other applicable law.
