As the result of a vehicle stop and search near Creedmoor, deputies and investigators of the Granville County Sheriff’s Office have seized 458 grams of crystal meth and 100 grams of black tar heroin, as well as drug paraphernalia and a weapon. This is the largest amount of these drugs seized in recent history, according to Sheriff Brin Wilkins. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office and the National Guard Counter Drug Task Force in the arrest of the suspect.
