Congratulations to the students who were recognized at the J.F. Webb High School of Health and Life Sciences inaugural White Coat Ceremony yesterday. Honorees included: Maya Burwell, Mikala Davis, Haley Messer, Sarah Monte, Julia Pienkosz, and Kortney Puryear. These young ladies are students in the Project Lead the Way Medical Interventions program. The teachers in the program as Jennifer Howard and Wendi Leas.

 

Project Lead the Way is a STEM-based, hands on bio-medical sciences curriculum, designed to teach students how to problem solve. Students develop skills necessary to succeed in a global biomedical economy, as well as explore biomedical careers that exist in areas that may interest them.
