LOTUS (Selective Adopter / Rescue Only)

Lotus came in as a stray from Easy Street, Oxford, NC on 11/15/2017.  Lotus is very people and dog friendly with low energy.  This girl loves to be around her people. Only flaw Lotus has is she is not a fan of felines, would do best in a home without cats!

PIPPA (Rescue Only/Selective Adopter)

Pippa came in as an owner surrender on 11/19/2017, she loves belly rubs and seems to do well with other dogs!

Video of Pippa playing with Smokey.

Sweets came to the shelter as a stray 12/28/18, off of Orange st, Oxford. He has been named Sweets for a reason, this guy loves people and any attention he can get! Sweets seems to be kennel trained and plays well with other dogs!

Video of Sweets and Dallas playing together.

Buster (Rescue Only / Selective Adopter)

Buster came in as an owner surrender with Sasha on 11/27/2017.

SADIE (Rescue Only / Selective Adopter)

Sadie is a shy girl upon first glance, but once she gets to know you, she is all about the love. She is trying very hard to trust again. She has been a quiet girl since her arrival at the shelter. She is in heat, so we haven’t been able to play with her in the yard with all the other dogs around. Sadie does enjoy her time in the back yard for a little one on one play time.

HAZEL (Rescue Only)

This girl came in emaciated. She is a very sweet girl, and from her appearance she hasn’t had the best life. Despite all of this, she is a great little girl. She is able to leave immediately with rescue due to her body condition.

Lola is a complete love bug, she came to the shelter as a stray 12/04/17. She loves to play with toys in her kennel and even out in the yard for play time! She is a very petite girl only weighing 33 lbs!  Come to the shelter and meet this Beautiful girl!

Chad (Rescue only/Selective Adopter)

Chad is one Handsome guy, he was a owner surrender due to the owner having complications keeping him in his yard. During his short time at the shelter he has been a very good boy, walks well on a leash, seems kennel trained and loves a Plush toy! Chads only flaw is he can sometimes show dominance over other dogs, mostly due to him still being intact. Rescue only or selective adopter due to this issue.

Abigail is a wonderful girl who came to the shelter 12/22/17 as a surrender. Abby knows sit and paw she is still learning how to bring the toy back when playing fetch. Has a lot of potential to be a great addition to any family, active or being a couch pup!
