Gates open at 6 p.m., fireworks start at 9 p.m. Sponsored by Granville County Government, Town of Butner, City of Creedmoor, City of Oxford and City of Stem. No rain date will be scheduled. All attendees must enter and exit through Lake Holt entrance. Once gates are closed, they will not reopen until the fireworks show is over. Bring lawn chair and/or blanket, bug spray and flashlight. Hot dogs and soft drinks available for purchase. All pets should be left at home.

In observance of Independence Day, Granville County offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 and will reopen on Thursday, July 5 at 8:30 a.m.
