Christmas Crafternoon Workshop with Senior Services

Thursday, December 8 – Angel Light Centerpiece
*Learn the method for cutting and sculpting paper angels to make a three-angel centerpiece with lights. You will be able to save this centerpiece for many years.

Each class is $10 per person OR you may take all three classes for $25. The cost includes all supplies. A minimum of four participants in order to hold each class. Participants are asked to bring their own “tools” (scissors, rulers, etc). Maxine Chauvaux will be the instructor. AARP Driver Safety Class @ South Granville Senior Center in Creedmoor

The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation’s first and largest driver safety course designed especially for drivers 50 and older.

The South Granville Senior Center in Creedmoor will hold their class on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 1:00 until 5:00.  Call 919-693-3383 to pre-register.

You MUST pre-register for these classes.

The cost for this class is $15 for AARP members and $20 for all non-members which includes all course materials.

The instructor for these classes will be Lynroy Thomas, a certified AARP Driver Safety Program instructor.

Rabies Clinic (sponsored by Granville County Animal Control) @ Rabies Clinic

Granville County Animal Control will be at the Granville County Senior Center in Oxford on June 28. 2017 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, to administer free rabies vaccines for cats and dogs.  NC rabies law requires all owned dogs and cats to be vaccinated against rabies by four months of age, and then to remain current.  These will be one year vaccines.  Topical flea and tick prevention will also be available at no cost during these clinics.  Everyone is welcome.  Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier.
