Q:  Can I name my driveway?

A:  Any private drive that is over 300 feet long can be named.  Also, if a driveway is shared by 3 or more residences, must be named.

Q:  If my driveway is named, do I have to change my address?

A:  Yes.  If your driveway is named, you will receive a letter with your new house number and the steps you will need to take to change your address.  The county will install the new street sign.

Q:  When can I get an address for my property?

A:  As soon as you know where your driveway will be located on the property, an address can be assigned.
