The Wilton Elementary School kindergarten class of Jade Currin and Leigh Rich donated all these items today to the Granville County Animal Shelter. The kids did a presentation in front of the school about a month ago to promote this donation drive. They also created flyers and posters to encourage the Wilton Elementary School families to donate. They were able to come to the shelter for a few minutes this morning to present the staff with the donations. As a small token of our appreciation, Granville County Animal Management gave them a framed certificate of appreciation. We are so thankful for Granville County volunteers who go above and beyond, no matter the age!
